How it works
You bet the Fire Bet before a new shooter's first roll. It pays when the shooter sevens out, based on how many different points they made: 4 points pays 24:1, 5 pays 249:1, and all 6 pays 999:1 (paid right away). Anything less loses.
How it compares to every other bet
House edge: the share of every dollar bet the casino keeps over time. Green is good, red is expensive. The highlighted bar is this page's bet.

Dice from a cryptographic random generator, standard Vegas payouts, and 1,000,000+ trials per bet. For everyday bets the simulated edge lands within a fraction of a percent of the exact math. Bets with rare jackpots (like a 999:1 Fire Bet) swing more from run to run, so we quote the exact house edge alongside the simulated one.
