Place the inside numbers: $10 on 5 and 9, $12 on 6 and 8. We ran it through 40,000 simulated hour-long sessions (100 rolls each, $10 table, real casino payouts) to see what actually happens.
Once a point is set, place $10 on the 5 and 9 and $12 on the 6 and 8, for $44 "inside." These four numbers roll 18 ways out of 36, twice as often as a 7.
Each hit pays $14 (5/9) or $14 (6/8), and your bets stay up. You need about four hits to cover one seven-out.
Bets: $10 on 5 & 9 + $12 on 6 & 8.

Play it now →Each session is 100 rolls (about an hour at a busy table) starting on a new shooter, using standard Vegas rules: 3-4-5x odds, casino payouts rounded down, place bets off on the come-out, and a $5,000 table max. At the end of the hour we stop betting, take down removable bets and let contract bets finish. "Down $500" counts any point in the hour where the session was $500 behind. Dice come from a cryptographic random generator. Results are practice estimates, not predictions.
Each hit pays $14. Losing all four bets costs $44, so you need four hits to come out ahead on a shooter.
Some players "regress" to $22 inside after the first hit to lock in profit. See our $44 inside with regression page for the simulated difference.
Not by default. They're "off" on the come-out roll unless you tell the dealer they're working.
